How much will a website cost me?
Websites that we design are custom-built for each business, which makes it hard to give a quote
without some discussion about what is needed, but here are some starting points: We have a 5-page
package for $850 and each additional page is $150 each. If there is programming involved, the price
goes up. For shopping carts, you're looking about around $3000 no matter what you do. Shopping carts
are very complicated and consist of many pages that require a consistent look. Web applications
generally run from $2000 and on up (the sky is the limit).
What are the steps involved in having a website designed?
Depending on the level of complexity of the site, you'll receive an estimate, and perhaps a High
Level Architecture plan for the site. Upon approval of these documents, you'll need to pay for
50% of the estimated total, sign the High Level Arch. doc (if present), and provide any logos,
pictures, and content (wording) to Level 7 Solutions.
Level 7 Solutions will deliver one conceptual mockup of the site's home page. One major revision
is included. Upon approval of the design, we will begin creating the actual website.
The website will be placed on a temporary location on the web (staging server) for your review and
approval. Once final approval is given, the remainder of the fee is required, then the site goes live.
I just need a one page website. Can Level 7 Solutions do that for me?
Sorry, but no. One page websites are very unprofessional and we would not put our name on any
site we are not absolutely proud of, and we don't take any projects we wouldn't be proud of.
Frankly, if your business isn't important enough to you to devote at least 5 pages to it, we're
not interested. The more pages in your site, the better you look to your potential customer.
More information given out implies more knowledge in the topic and that can only help you.
Search engines also look at the amount of content on your site as a parameter in their ranking methods.
More, well-written content, the higher you'll be in Google.
What all do I need to have a website?
You'll need a domain name, a web hosting account, and content. Level 7 Solutions can help you with
the domain name and the hosting account. The content is up to you. Of, course, we can recommend a
copy editor that can help you in generating the content.
What must I provide to Level 7 Solutions?
- Written words for each page in an electronic format (MS Word, Text, etc.)
- Any images that you own (we can provide royalty-free images if you need it)
- Your logo in an electric format (preferably Adobe PhotoShop)
- Login and passwords to your domain registrar and web hosting account (if Level
7 Solutions does not provide these services for you).
Does Level 7 Solutions own its own web hosting servers?
Yes. We own our own web hosting servers that reside in a data center in Liberty, Texas that
is owned by one of our strategic partners, Computer Solutions. We do not resell hosting
provided by third-party hosting companies, like most other web design companies do.
